Hello, my name is Kristopher and I joined this May 5, 2008.

I am writing about the two 1985 Pontiac 6000 STE's I own. One, I purchased in late October 1988 and the second is one I bought in mid November 2007.

Both of them are excellent cars. When I joined the Pontaic Oakland Club Internations back in 1989 I was somewhat rebuffed for the resident chapter focused mostly on

muscle machines. I did go to several events with the club. but after a while, I dropped out. It wasn't until 2007 that I got back into the Pontiac Club up here in the

Pacific Nothwest, even though most of of the owners like the cars from the 1950's and 1960's. They are a great group of people to go to car shows with.


My original STE will get a new interior this spring while the one I picked up last Novmber will fill in during the restoration. I plan to slowly bring the car back to where

it was when I bought from the orignal owner when it had 38.000 miles on it. The STE I bought last November has only 130,000 miles on it while the other has 300,000

or so miles on it (odometer broke some years ago). Being that there was not a large selection of colors for the STE, makes picking upholstery colors easy. On both cars,

I keep a log book so each time I have anything done to each car gets recorded and the receipt get put away in a binder (do you think I am a little anal?)
